    Your New Role

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Engineer who possesses a solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Design. This role involves designing and managing projects through all phases of design and construction. The ideal candidate will lead the project to success, ensuring that all project goals are achieved promptly and within the allocated budget, while also contributing their technical expertise to the engineering or design aspects of the projects. Effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle is paramount to maintain transparency and alignment.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
    • Project Execution:
      • Manage project scope, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project execution.
      • Manage project from schematic design through construction administration.
    • Technical Expertise:
      • Utilize mechanical engineering or design expertise to not only guide but also directly contribute to the technical aspects of the project.
      • Create engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
      • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve technical challenges and ensure project success.
    • Client Communication and Relationship Management:
      • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
      • Communicate project updates, milestones, and deliverables to clients in a clear and timely manner.
      • Manage client expectations and address any concerns or issues that may arise during the project.
    • Resource Allocation and Management:
      • Allocate resources effectively to meet project objectives and deadlines.
    WHAT YOU'LL BRING
    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline degree or experience required. Preferred candidates have taken the following courses: Heat Transfer, Fluid Dynamics, and Thermodynamics.
    • 6+ years' experience working in mechanical engineering as a project engineer.
    • Proven experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on project management.
    • Experienced in the design and analysis of complex mechanical and plumbing systems with a solid understanding and application of engineering principals, practices and concepts.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Revit, AutoCAD and current mechanical engineering software (e.g., TRACE 3D Plus, IESVE). Working knowledge of MicroStation, Smartsheet, and Deltek Ajera software is a plus. Ability to maintain skill levels within the changing technology environment.
    • Ability to navigate and apply national, state and local codes along with industry standards (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning) to overall project and individual system designs.
    • Strong project skills, including planning, and scheduling.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work and self-motivate
    • Ability to work as part of a team.
    • Candidates holding an EIT or EI certification are committed to complete The Principals and Practice of Engineering (PE) exam within a dedicated time frame.
    • Candidate shall demonstrate proper documentation to lawfully work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
