Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Test Report Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive, clear, and accurate test reports that communicate testing procedures, results, and analysis for a variety of electronic and electrical products. Your contributions will ensure our clients receive precise documentation that supports product compliance and quality assurance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Downloading, archiving, processing data and preparing folders for report generation.
• Working directly with customers (internal and external) to maintain the status of all reports
• Writing customer reports by verifying data files for accuracy, insuring equipment used during testing was in calibration at the time of testing, insuring proper standard and year, insuring quality and completeness of photos (one for each test), inserting and verifying customer supplied information and insuring all reports are reviewed prior to release to a customer.
• Insuring that accreditation logos are removed from reports when testing was performed for non-accredited standards, or clearly identifying sections of reports where partial testing is outside of the scope of CKC's accreditation.
• Insuring that reports reflect only the results of tests and not advice or recommendations.
• Checking reports written by other report writers.
• Creating and maintaining templates used for the generation of reports.
• Insuring the proper content of reports by coordinating activities and obtaining information from the Engineers, and, in some cases, customers.
• Responds to customer questions pertaining to reports.
• Document all issues and database appropriate information throughout the process of report generation.
• Reception phone duties required for hunt group support.
• Other Administrative assignments as needed.
• This position may also require occasional travel for ongoing training and coverage.
• Working with / observing engineering testing to better understand the hand-off from engineering to reports.

Experience

• Good interpersonal skills that include effective, professional and concise communication by E-mail, telephone and verbal in person.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is a must.
• General Proficiency with Office 365 products is a plus.
• Technical writing experience is a plus.

Pay: $ $21.50 per hour
