This role is intended to be a hybrid position working out of our Concord office, but has potential to be remote for the right candidate.
Description:
The person who fills this position will work closely with project managers and our land development team to produce quality drawings, review survey and basemap drawings, create Stormwater Control Plans, provide quality checking of drafted products, and coordinate of activities between all disciplines at the project level including stormwater, erosion control, site development, and underground utilities.
The ideal candidate will be able to work on multiple projects at the same time, will have an understanding of sloping grades and ADA requirements, and will be relied on as a discipline lead to work a typical set of project documents from beginning to end.
Requirements:
BSCE degree from an accredited university
EIT Certification
4+ years of civil engineering design experience, land development experience preferred
Proficient in AutoCAD Civil3D
Proficient with MS Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
Ability to lead projects with moderate to minimal supervision. Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work outside and perform site inspections at active and potential construction sites
Eager to do "whatever it takes" to help the team meet the Client's needs
Preferred Qualifications:
PE certificaiton
MSCE or higher
Strong working knowledge with Autodesk CAD platforms and 3D modeling
Experience in hydrologic and hydraulic engineering including BHAM Modeling, C3 Treatment Design, Hydraflow Express, and Hydraflow Storm Sewers
Experience with Bluebeam, Bluebeam Sessions
