    As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiopulmonary ICU at Prisma Health Heart Hospital, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of critically ill patients and their families.     About the Role

    This position is responsible for providing clinical direction and leadership to nursing staff, fostering patient-centered care and promoting a culture of safety and quality. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a commitment to lifelong learning.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide direct care to assigned patients, utilizing evidence-based practices and research to inform decision-making.
    • Develop and implement individualized plans of care, prioritizing patient needs and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
    • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions of care, coordinate referrals, and advocate for patients' needs.
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

    Requirements

    • Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • One year experience as a registered nurse, or successful completion of the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program or comparable residency.
    • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
