Description
MIND & MOBILITY Private Duty and In-Home Therapy, one of the most reputable home health agencies in Florida, has an immediate open position for a PRN Occupational Therapist to provide in home therapy in the Boca Raton area.
Candidate will be responsible for in-home therapy visits.
With each appointment, evaluate the level of function and help develop/update the care planComplete initial comprehensive assessments as needed and report back to the AdministratorMaintain a positive and joyful attitude at all times, respecting the needs of each individual patient while providing personalized treatmentPartner with family members and other members of the healthcare team to promote the patient's progress toward mutually agreed upon goalsWrite and submit proper progress reports.
RequirementsCurrent, valid FL Occupational Therapist licenseValid driver's licenseValid BLS CPR certificationAble to produce all credentials prior to seeing first patient:Current Physical, TB or chest x-ray.
Level 2 Background Screening w/prints or able to pass oneFlexible scheduleGreat organization skills and ability to write detailed reportsOne year of proven experience working with seniors preferred but not requiredOne year as a licensed therapist preferred but not required
