    Description: Are you a seasoned Software Developer looking to make an impact in the dynamic world of IoT initiatives? Our client, a leading petrochemical company, is seeking a talented individual to join their team as a Software Developer IV. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in designing, coding, configuring, testing, debugging, and documenting system and application programs to support their IoT projects. You'll work closely with our client's team, ensuring the seamless integration of custom Python code on custom hardware deployed in the field. Collaboration is key as you'll participate in architecture, design, and code reviews with Azure IoT Hub and maintain operational and system-level documentation.

    Details:

    • Niche Requirement: This role requires hands-on experience, focusing on practical implementation rather than leadership or theoretical work.
    • Python Proficiency: Must-have expertise in Python, with a track record of deploying custom code on edge hardware.
    • DevOps Knowledge: Familiarity with DevOps practices is advantageous to streamline development processes.
    • Cloud Experience: Essential familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, with AWS knowledge being a plus.
    • C# Skills: Proficiency in C# is essential for writing APIs to enhance system functionality.
    • Field Interaction: Interface with devices in the field on proprietary networks, ensuring smooth operations.
