The MACS/WIHS Combined Cohort Study (MWCCS) is a national collaborative effort to learn more about the impact of chronic health conditions on those living with HIV.
Georgetown University Medical Center (GUMC), and the Inova Juniper Program.
The Research Specialist (2 of 4 current opportunities) serves as the primary contact for women participating in the long-term research studies - MACS/WIHS Combined Cohort Study (MWCCS) and the Study of Treatment and Reproductive Outcomes (STAR).
Both studies are multi-year studies, funded by the NIH, and provide recruitment, retention, and outreach services to facilitate continued participation in these studies and related sub-studies.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Reporting to the MWCCS & STAR Project Director, the Research Specialist (2 of 4) works in collaboration with other research specialists, medical and data teams, the Project Coordinator, and the Principal Investigators.
Their visits are scheduled in coordination with the clinical team; their data entry and edits must be coordinated with the data team; and participant incentive payments and travel reimbursements must be coordinated with the administrative team.
Work Mode:
