Overview Of The General Ledger Accountant Role
Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting activities.
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
Maintain the Corporate general ledger and prepare financial statements as required for various subsidiary companies.
Maintain fixed asset schedules, record depreciation and reconcile to general ledger.
Preferred Qualifications For The General Ledger Accountant
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
Proven experience in accounting roles, ideally with manufacturing exposure.
Previous experience with MS Dynamics a plus.
Moderate to advanced Excel skills, including V-lookups and pivot tables.
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
