    If you have at least 3 years on the job experience as a certified diesel mechanic and CDL-A driver, have a valid license with a clean driving record, strong attention to detail and good interpersonal communication skills we would like to talk to you. No touch freight.

    Requirements

    · Diesel Mechanic certification

    · CDL Class A

    · 3-years mechanic and driving experience (with a good work record)

    · Experience with Single and/or Tandem tractor trailers (30 to 48 foot trailers)

    · Experience pulling quad axle dump trailers and lowboys is a plus.

    · Forklift experience

    · Clean driving record

    · Current medical card

    · Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.

    · Good customer service skills / communication skills

    · Team player

    · Other duties as assigned.

    Company DescriptionWe are a local trucking company located in Lawton, MI looking to hire 1 full time Certified Diesel Mechanic with a CDL Class A Driver's License. Your primary role will be company certified mechanic, while also serving as a floater driver/operator. You will operate a variety of equipment ranging from single axle day cab semis to tandem axle heavy duty semis. This will encompass boom crane truck, Moffett truck and trailer with 30ft to 48ft flatbed trailers as well as Lowboy. Since the routes are local you will be home in the evenings.
