    AAR is on the lookout for Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMT). The A&P Technician III position is perfect for recent A&P school grads, maintenance professionals, and veterans with less than 3 years of experience in aviation maintenance. Our comprehensive Step-Level Progression training program is designed to help you obtain your FAA airframe and/or powerplant licenses.

    WORK LOCATION: Onsite at AAR, located at Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City.
    SCHEDULE: Full-time, non-exempt, and variable hours, with a 40-50 hour workweek. Shift times will be determined by the supervisor.

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Complete basic aircraft maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks under supervision
    • Ensure aircraft are maintained safely in compliance with Airworthiness Standards
    • Proficient use of FAA approved/accepted data
    • Maintain records in accordance with FAA and company standards
    • Perform airframe repairs, meeting deadlines and quality standards
    • Read and interpret technical publications, schematics, and mechanical drawings
    • Utilize various tools like PC, iPad, and basic computer programs
    • Other job-related duties as assigned
    • Adherence to work schedule, punctuality, and self-motivation

    QUALIFICATIONS

    PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS
    • Minimum age of 18
    • High school diploma or GED
    • General maintenance experience
    • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
    • Proficiency in English

    PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
    • 1+ year of aviation maintenance experience
    • Prior experience with aircraft, including helicopters
    • FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant license
    • Valid Driver's License
    • Knowledge of FAA regulations

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

    SCREENING REQUIREMENTS
    • Clearance of DOT drug screen, physical, background check, and verifications
    • U.S. work authorization and E-Verify completion
    • Qualification for Will Rogers World Airport badge within 30 days
