    Job Summary :

    As a Federal Program Analyst for the VHA, you will serve as a prime physician liaison within the Rapid Response and Triage Team (RRTT).

    Your role is pivotal in assessing newly developed strategic project needs, engaging stakeholders, and driving initiatives that support the operational goals of the VHA.

    Must have 1 year experience working as a contractor / employee for VA/VHA in the last 5 years. NO EXCEPTIONS.

    Key Responsibilities :
    Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals and senior leadership to identify and prioritize strategic project requirements.
    Lead discussions with key stakeholders to gather insights and consensus on project direction and objectives.
    Initiate and draft project scoping letters and detailed response plans to address emergent needs within the VHA system.
    Estimate the necessary level of effort and determine staffing requirements to achieve project goals efficiently.
    Utilize in-depth knowledge of VHA operations to facilitate successful project outcomes and foster continuous improvement.
    Maintain active engagement with senior leadership, ensuring alignment with the overall strategic vision and gaining support for various initiatives.

    Qualifications :
    Proven experience and a track record of success within similar roles, ideally within federal health programs or healthcare-related fields.
    Strong ability to assess complex project requirements and create comprehensive plans to address them.
    Exceptional communication skills with the capacity to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    Demonstrated knowledge of VHA operations and the unique challenges faced by healthcare systems.
    Experience in strategic planning, project management, and staff coordination.

    Proximity to VHA Central Office is required; applicants must be located within 50 miles of 810 Vermont Avenue NW, Washington, DC.


    Education :
    A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in healthcare administration, public health, business, or a related field.
    Advanced degrees or certifications in project management, healthcare, or related disciplines are highly valued.
