Seasonal Labor for the Garden City Department of Public Works performs manual labor in the construction, maintenance, repair, and cleaning of streets, sewers and water systems, city buildings, park grounds and lawns, and recreation equipment.

Operates trucks/equipment incidental to the work such as mowers, cleaners, sweepers, and compressors. This position will be for a maximum of six months, up to forty (40) hours per week during the duration of employment

This position is seasonal only, and filled from April 1 through October 15

Examples of Duties / Knowledge & Skills
Work is performed under the supervision of an assigned Crew Leader or their designee

Minimum qualifications & Requirements
Applicant must be 18 years old and have a valid Michigan Driver License with a good driving record.
