    State Farm Litigation Counsel, insurance staff counsel for State Farm Insurance Companies, is seeking a trial attorney with 2-10 years civil litigation and trial experience to join our Crown Point, Indiana office.

    Candidates must have exceptional knowledge of civil procedure, evidence and trial strategy and possess outstanding written and oral advocacy skills.

    You will be working in a hybrid environment, with some required presence in the office and some remote. Work arrangements could change over time based on business needs.
    Must have a law degree from ABA accredited law school and excellent academic credentials

    • Must have active license to practice law in Indiana and be a member in good standing with the state bar
    • 2-10 years of civil litigation experience preferably in insurance defense
    • Experience directing support staff on clerical and administrative matters related to lawsuit handling
    • Strong automation/technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation
    • Illinois law license and/or bilingual a plus but not required
