- Provide guidance to internal personnel regarding corporate purchasing policies, documentation requirements, etc including maintaining Purchase Orders.
- Support the administration of vendor profiles in our ERP including review of related tax, banking and other documentation; review and respond thoroughly and timely to vendor inquiries concerning payments or other matters.
- Monitor, review and process vendor invoices timely and accurately.
- Ensures payments are made accurately and timely.
- Provide support related to the corporate credit card program, audit of employee expense reports and responding to related inquiries.
- Perform monthly and quarterly general ledger account reconciliations for Accounts Payable related balance sheet accounts.
- Collaborate with IT on Finance system testing and operating issues.
- Support internal and external audit requests.
- Record journal entries, analyze data, and generate reports within the GL, AP and Expense system in addition to the Treasury administration systems, and related databases.
- Perform independent research and analysis to troubleshoot and problem solve as needed.
- Create and maintain accounts payable processes and procedures.
- Support and/or lead finance initiatives and special projects.
- Interact with other areas of the company and vendors to build collaborative relationships.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience
- 4-6 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Proven ability to work independently and learn quickly
- Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Sound judgment, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management skills and multi-tasking abilities
- Analytical skills with ability to synthesize and summarize data
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Strong technology skills and use of various applications/software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint,Visio, Microsoft Office)
