    Description

    The Corporate Human Resources Generalist will provide administrative day-to-day support to the Corporate Human Resources Manager with Full Cycle talent acquisition process continuing through the onboarding cycle phase, assists with benefit and payroll processing.

    They are responsible for the selection of qualified candidates to present to hiring managers for review.

    The Corporate Human Resources Generalist will utilize new and creative mechanisms to source candidates, evaluate candidates, evaluate candidates based upon established criteria, and successfully build a qualified talent pool in a timely manner, reducing time to hire.

    Corporate HR Generalist will provide HR, Training, and employee development for the corporation and manufacturing facilities.

    The Corporate Human Resources Generalist is responsible for administration of policies and collective bargaining agreements, relevant reporting, as well as maintaining records and verification of payroll hours for employees.

    The Corporate Human Resources Generalist will lead professional recruiting activities as well as employee engagement and appreciation events.

    Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to determine qualification criteria for candidates
    Update position descriptions
    Publish job ads on career pages, job boards, social media and printed media as well as developing new and creative ways to source qualified candidates
    Source and contact passive candidates online via LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
    Network with candidates at job fairs and career events
    Screen resumes and job applications, perform pre-interview phone screens and provide a shortlist of high potential candidates
    Update hiring managers on hiring status, and update hiring metrics (i.e. number of screened applicants, number of pre-screens conducted, etc.)
    Create talent pipelines with high-potential candidates for future job opportunities
    Keep detailed records of past applicants' information, including resumes and interview evaluations.
    Update and maintain the applicant tracking systems (ATS).
    Identify skill gaps between high potential talent for succession planning; leverage gap analysis to determine learning priorities.
    Monitor and evaluate training programs to ensure continuous learning and career development opportunities for employees.
    Implement training initiatives based upon organizational learning needs, leadership development programs, succession planning, and internal knowledge transfer.

    Manage the HRIS to ensure employee records are recorded and current including, but not limited to, personnel data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance evaluations, and employment status.

    Work with Managers to design, monitor and Implement process associated with employee development planning to ensure congruence between the needs of the organization with the interests of our team members.

    Counsel and assist managers on disciplinary, attendance, and performance issues to ensure compliance with Company policies, practices and labor agreements.

    Prepare various reports for upper-level management.

    Monitors and maintains compliance with applicable Federal and State regulatory rules pertaining to employment opportunity, conditions and hours of work, rates of pay etc.

    (OSHA-EEOC-ADA-Fair Employment-Wage and Hour).
    Ensures health, safety, and environmental practices are adhered to.
    Assists in the implementation and accomplishment of organizational change.
    Participates in benefits administration and enrollment for new employees.
    Processes timekeeping information for payroll.
    Cross training on 401k benefits and administration responsibilities.
    Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
    Associates Degree required, Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
    Knowledge of principles and practices of human resources (unemployment and labor laws).
    Minimum of three (3) years of proven work experience with knowledge of human resources and hiring for the manufacturing industry
    Ability to manage the initial phase of the employment life cycle (job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, etc.) Experience with various interview formats, including phone screening calls, in-person interviews and group interviews
    Experience sourcing candidates in hiring in Mexico as well as the U.S. a plus
    Experience evaluating candidates for various roles in all levels of the organization
    Knowledge of applicant tracking systems
    Solid organizational and time-management capabilities
    Effective oral and written communications skills.
    Excellent interpersonal skills.
    Strong computer skills, including HRIS experience, as well as Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, and Outlook)
    Experience with payroll related compliance, reporting, and wage and tax rules. Ability to use on-line and other resources to research and stay informed of payroll related topics and new requirements.
    Experience with integrated accounting systems and payroll processing systems and resources.
    Proven record of ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
