- Quotes new CNC machining business (by interpreting customer design definition, specifications, etc., uing sophisticated estimation tools).
- Quotes repeat CNC machining business (by referencing historical data or other estimation tools).
- Monitors status of submitted quotes (won/lost/other), following up where appropriate.
- Coordinates product planning / launch activity for new business awarded.
- Collaborates with Purchasing for purchased items in support of quotes.
- Serves as a primary point of customer contact (RFQs and quote-related activity, via phone, email, portal, etc.).
- Develops and maintains customer relationships.
- Reviews customer purchase orders for acceptance (pricing, delivery, terms and conditions, etc.), negotiating where appropriate.
- Manages customer specifications library.
- Must have 5-8 years of preparing accurate estimate reports for customers within the Manufacturing Industry
- Associates or Bachelors degree in a manufacturing or engineering related field preferred. In lieu of a degree, relevant experience may be substituted.
- CNC Machining quoting experience strongly preferred
- Aerospace Experience preferred
