    Description

    Sartre has a prestigious global trading firm looking for a Junior Quantitative Risk Analyst. The client is a well-known market maker with expertise in low latency trading, combining trading skills with top-notch technology and infrastructure. This position involves managing and minimizing execution risk at the intersection of trading, options theory, and automation.

    Responsibilities

    • Be a crucial part of the expanding Risk team, developing effective safeguards for trading activities.
    • Collaborate with Developers to improve risk infrastructure.
    • Establish automated reporting and risk metrics within the infrastructure.
    • Inventive ways to quantify risk and performance metrics using historical and market data.
    • Assist the team in designing, testing, and overseeing trading systems and position limits.

    Requirements

    • Prior experience in finance or trading-related development.
    • Proven track record in Python or a similar language, with a bonus for SQL knowledge.
    • Familiarity with financial products and options theory.
    • Strong programming and analytical skills.
    • Exceptional attention to detail, with a keen drive and independent thinking ability.
    • Bachelor's degree or higher in a numerical field, or equivalent professional background.
