Job description
We are looking for a solid fit for our FOH who may be interested in something part time or open to growth with us. They will be required to work our Sunday brunch at least twice a month but ideally we find someone that can become a consistent face of the restaurant and is able to do it every Sunday.
We are open to train the right person but prefer an experienced server for this immediate role.
Also, our food i really good and we just keep growing.
Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant food and beverage team As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert knowledge of our menu, and a lively, welcoming attitude. Your role is vital in creating memorable dining moments, ensuring guests feel valued and satisfied from the moment they walk in until their last sip. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using our Toast POS
- Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling, preparation, and serving
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and resetting tables efficiently for new guests
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately and process payments efficiently using POS systems
- Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues swiftly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Support the team during busy nights at our nightclub or fine dining environment by providing exceptional service
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
- Experience with food handling, preparation, bussing, host/hostess duties, or cashiering is a plus
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and bill splitting
- Knowledge of the food industry terminology and restaurant operations is beneficial
