Job summary
The Director of Fleet will lead the charge in managing our fleet of heavy equipment trucks and semis optimizing utilization keeping operations running smoothly and ensuring every machine earns its keep.
Fleet Operations Utilization Establish and monitor key performance indicators KPIs related to fleet usage equipment availability and cost per hour of operation Develop and implement software strategies to ensure the optimal tracking utilization preventative maintenance of heavy equipment light trucks

- Budgeting Financial Oversight Manage the fleet departments budget ensuring expenses are controlled performance targets are met Oversee the establishment regular adjustment of equipment cost rates for ownership operation ensuring they align with company financial goals industry standards Work with estimating department accounting ensure that equipment expenses accurately incorporated into estimates project budgets full recovery all equipment fleet department related expenses annual basis
