- Safely operate and maneuver a CDLA vehicle to transport goods.
- Adhere to all traffic and transportation regulations to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the road.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any maintenance or safety issues.
- Load and unload goods in a secure and organized manner, ensuring no damage occurs during transit.
- Plan routes and schedule deliveries to optimize efficiency and meet deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, representing the company in a positive manner.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to report any delivery or inventory discrepancies.
- Valid CDLA driver's license with a clean driving record with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement
- Proven experience as a CDLA driver, preferably with 5 years of driving experience.
- Knowledge of current transportation regulations and best practices.
- Excellent driving skills and the ability to operate CDLA vehicles safely.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and occasional weekends.
