    Summary:
    As a Lockbox Bank Operations Specialist
    • Weekend Shift Lead Clerk, you will be responsible for the flow of the work by leading the team to getting things done according to the process.
    You will be required to operate a variety of equipment such as the XDS and Opex 3690, 150 and MPS30.

    Through the utilization of this equipment, you will, presort, open, and extract incoming check remittance payments as well as perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the equipment.

    You may also be involved in guiding the team when the supervisor is not in the office. You will be required to communicate daily with the supervisor and other clerks on your team and other teams. You may be required to train others on your team.

    Working in this high-speed environment, you will need to meet production and quality standards, so accuracy and attention to detail are imperative.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    Operating Imaging/Extraction Equipment (OPEX 3690)


    Preparing batches of work by extracting checks and remittances from envelopesInputting data into the system while following standard operating procedures and customer specific instructions for processingVerifying negotiability of checks through customer specific instructions for processingBalancing/reconciling electronic and paper documentationDemonstrating proficiency in all complexities, processing modes and department equipmentMaintaining site productivity and quality standardsContributing to meeting team goals in addition to individual responsibilitiesEnsuring that all customer and bank guidelines are followed as related to operations, internal audit and security, and general practicesRemittance Processing or banking operations experience preferredAbility to analyze and comprehend client's standard operating procedures and instructionsIntermediate computer skills.
