    Tasks and Qualifications:
    This is What You Will do in

    This Role:
    Create application functionality, configuration, and develop software.
    Implement project customizations and configurations per design.
    Review customers' standards specifications and other documentation to determine software engineering requirements.
    Install, commission, and test application software as part of an integrated solution.
    Provide primary level support of installed systems.
    Identify areas of improvement.
    Present technical findings and developments.
    Mentor / Lead Junior Engineers.
    Create Detailed Design Specifications for Software Engineers.

    What We Are Looking For:
    Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
    Requires at least 18 months experience as a Software Engineer or closely related occupation.

    Requires 18 months' experience with Object-Oriented Programming coupled with industry-specific knowledge (such as interactions with specific pieces of equipment and Controls platforms).

    MHE Solutions (specifically AS/RS).
    Git, Gitlab, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, SAP, and Agile methodologies.
    Java, C#, and C++.
    Cloud-based deployment, Docker/Kubernetes, and Microservices.
    Automation and continuous deployment; web services (REST, GraphQL) and messaging platforms like NATS.
    Relational databases like MS SQL and PostgreSQL.
    Agile software development and testing principles and practices.
    Applying user experience design principles to create great mobile and web UIs.
    Up to 20% travel is required to various unanticipated locations.
    Pre-employment processing for this position requires drug testing and passing background checks.

    - Telecommuting is permitted but must be within commuting distance of Wauwatosa, WI; Grand Rapids, MI; or Plano, TX office.
