    In this key role you will plan, organize and direct the fiscal services of the Pacific Region, including the development, interpretation, coordination, and administration of the Regions policies on finance, accounting, insurance, financial/accounting systems, internal controls, and auditing.

    Maintains departmental reports and records, and collects statistical data for administrative and regulatory purposes.

    Supervises and coordinates the functions of reimbursements, budget, patient accounting, medical records, admitting and general accounting, which includes general ledger accounting, accounts payable, and cashiering.

    Prepares report outlining hospitals financial position in all areas of assets, liabilities, income and expense, based on past, present, and planned future operations.


    QualificationsEducation:
    Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. Masters degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may substitute for education requirements.


    Licenses/Certification:
    Licensed Certified Public Accountant preferred

    Experience:
    Five years prior management experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
