    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a motivated and experienced Licensed Dental Assistant with surgical expertise to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our practice, you will play a crucial role in assisting our oral and maxillofacial surgeons in delivering top-notch patient care. If you are passionate about oral surgery, have a valid Minnesota dental assistant license, and possess the necessary surgical skills, we want to hear from you

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist oral and maxillofacial surgeons during surgical procedures, including dental implant placement, wisdom teeth extractions, and facial reconstructions.
    • Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
    • Take and develop dental x-rays and cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) scans.
    • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes.
    • Educate patients on pre- and post-operative care instructions.
    • Ensure a clean and organized surgical suite.
    • Assist with patient intake, scheduling, and billing as needed.
    • Uphold strict infection control and safety protocols.
    • Collaborate effectively with the entire dental team to ensure seamless patient care.
    Qualifications:
    • Valid Minnesota Dental Assistant License.
    • Surgical experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
    • CPR certification preferred.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
    • Commitment to patient confidentiality and privacy.
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.
