Job summary
This position is intended for registered nurses to assist the certified school nurse during the school day with first aid/other medical needs and clerical duties to meet the health related needs and/or emergencies of students and staff during the school day.- Assist the school nurse to develop and implement plans of action for the resolution or management of identified health problems.
- Attend to sick and injured children, dispense medication and provide basic first-aid assistance and emergency care as dictated by district policies, procedures and practices, and school nurse instruction.
