Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Onsite - Stanton, Tennessee or Glendale, Kentucky (Relocation package is available)

Type: Direct Hire - (NO C2C OR THIRD PARTY)

Pay Rate Negotiable depending on DIRECT-related experience

Position Overview:

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will have a rare and exciting opportunity to be a pivotal member of the start-up team, actively involved in launching our state-of-the-art facility from the ground up.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Safety - Serve as maintenance liaison for launch-related activities, Construction Service Safety audits/compliance checks, and inter-department Pre-Task Analyses
• Quality - Direct data-driven maintenance processes to improve quality metrics
• Delivery - Facilitate constraint analysis and coordinate activities to eliminate bottlenecks
• Cost - Optimize throughput in accordance with budgets and cost objectives: meet or beat schedule
• People - Supervise hourly skilled trade employees
• Maintenance - Lead all daily, weekend, and shutdown maintenance planning
• Environment - Ensure department compliance with government, industry, and corporate standards

Preferred Requirements:

• Education: Bachelors Degree
• Experience: 3-5 years automotive experience
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
• Knowledge of constraint management principles
• Safety and Quality experience preferred

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience: 1-2 years supervisory experience of skilled trades / technical support
• Ability to work any shift in a 7-day pattern
• Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills
• Capable of assigning work to hourly workforce and holding employees accountable for following processes pertaining to daily work assignments in terms safety, quality, and throughput
