- Perform and interpret Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) testing.
- Responsible for providing nutrition assessment and care planning for patients.
- Ability to collect pertinent information and materials related to patient care including but not limited to medical history, clinical data, 3-day food record, etc. prior to consultations, analyze the information, and draws appropriate conclusions using evidence-based guidelines.
- Review and evaluate books and products and stay up to date on current nutrition issues, products, books, guidelines, recommendations, etc.
- 2 years post-internship clinical experience required.
- Master's degree or advanced certification: (CDCES, CSSD, CSOWM, etc. preferred).
- Must enjoy a fast-paced environment, provide patient-centered care and counseling, demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to change, exhibit high level of motivation and drive to stay current with nutrition trends and research, work well in a team environment, have strong communication skills: interpersonal, written and verbal skills.
