    Job Description:

    • Candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter who has a passion for engineering and machine design and automation.
    • Design dip molding machinery to customer design specifications.
    • Interact with clients, mechanical engineers, and vendors during the design process.
    • Understand and implement current design trends and engineering best practices.
    • Perform calculations to properly size power and control circuit conductors and protective devices.
    • Implement design changes and revisions as required.
    • Manage project timelines.
    • Prepare machine operation and maintenance manuals.
    • Project responsibilities for all aspects of the design and build process, including:
    • Concept
    • System design, including safety systems integration
    • Schematics and control panel design
    • Control programs Visual Basic, PLC, Client
    • Interact with shop personnel during control panel and machine build
    • Startup of equipment
    • Debug software
    • Write operating instructions
    • Conduct factory acceptance testing
    • Conduct site acceptance testing
    • Train operators, engineers, and maintenance personnel
    • Post-installation customer support

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology.
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrical engineer.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, including multicultural interactions.
    • Knowledgeable regarding machine safety requirements, techniques, and systems.
    • Ability and willingness to travel to both domestic and international destinations.
    • Attentive to detail, critically-minded and self-motivated with the ability to follow a project to completion.
    • Proficiency required with the following software:
    • AutoCAD (2D)
    • Microsoft Word
    • Microsoft Excel
    • Rockwell Software Studio 500
    • Proficiency with the following software is not required, but is beneficial:
    • Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0
    • Wonderware
    • Mitsubishi MELSOFT GX Works
    • Automation Direct DirectSoft
    • Construction estimating: 1 year (Preferred)
