- Utilizes technical knowledge to provide quality diagnostic radiographs to aid in diagnoses.
- Positions patients appropriately for optimal views.
- Ensures radiation safety techniques are followed to protect patients and staff.
- Develops exposed radiographs for diagnostic purposes.
- Maintains and troubleshoots equipment as needed.
- Assists Radiologists during procedures.
- Keeps inventory of radiology supplies up to date.
- Proficient in providing services related to development, communication, and data collection.
- Conducts quality control measures to maintain equipment and technique integrity.
- Manages monthly processor cleaning and maintenance schedules.
- Ensures calibrations and inspections are done as required.
- Maintains documentation as per State guidelines.
- Schedules patient exams and informs staff accordingly.
- Ensures timely completion of tests and reports.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Current Registration with ARRT and State Radiologic Technologist license.
- Certification/licensing from an accredited Radiology Technology school.
- Proficient in English reading and writing.
- Ability to operate various equipment including radiographic and fluoroscopic machines, dark room processors, etc.
