    Job Description SummaryThis position is responsible for fulfilling customer and warehouse needs to ensure customer satisfaction. This positionwill work very closely with the Sales Force and other departments to meet & exceed customer expectations.

    A largedegree of discretionary decision making, creativity and self motivation is required and the ability to work independentlyunder minor supervision.

    The Sales Support Representative will be assigned specific customer accounts and will be expected tomanage the following aspects of those accounts within prescribed guidelines under the direction of the CustomerService Manager.

    Responsible for the accurate and timely entry, editing and monitoring through completion of sales orders, along with setting theorder due date and communicating delivery back to the customer.2.

    Responsible for accurately & completely estimating new items and follows set ISO departmental proceduresrequires workingclosely with Sales, Management, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Shipping and Design.3.

    Revises cost estimates and suggests new pricing as costs, designs or manufacturing processes change.4. Sets Inventory Levels based on usage history, customer commitment, warehouse space, lead time & other prescribed inventoryguidelines.5.

    Monitors existing warehouse levels on all warehouse items to identify increases / decreases in customer demand, working close lywith shipping and inventory departments.6.

    Responsible for entering warehouse replenishment orders in accordance with set warehouse levels.7. Responsible for comprehending and maintaining correct pricing, index levels and contribution percentages.8. Must maintain and create Quote Folders and Master Spec folders for each item processed .9. Must maintain and keep files up to date for pricing issues, vendor issues, routing changes and spec changes.10. Work with Purchasing to select vendors to provide cost effective product to meet customer requirements.11. Works on special projects as directed by Customer Service manager.
