- Review production equipment, hardware, and tooling; makes recommendations for repairs or replacements.
- Oversees in the development of new processes, methods and production controls.
- Identifies and assesses various problems and departures from established manufacturing standards and best practices; researches and recommends solutions.
- Helps with installation of new equipment and ensures operation set up is done correctly and employees properly trained.
- Maintains knowledge of new and developing manufacturing technology, equipment, and applications; applies this knowledge to recommend and implement new technology and processes.
- High level of computer knowledge/experience using Microsoft Windows format in order to adapt to other programs used for this position
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong mechanical skills required.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand and/or sit for long periods of time
- Ability to work Necessary overtime to support manufacturing needs and requests from our customers.
- 2-5 years EMS experience in preferred.
- Knowledge of Wave Solder operations preferred.

Education & Experience: bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering, or 5-7 years' experience in EMS.
Lean Manufacturing Certification preferred.
The person we are looking for must have in Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) expeerience or we will not consider.
