    Hiring Full-Time Pre-K Teacher | Chester, PA, United States

    Position Type: Full-Time

    Position Overview:
    We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Pre-K Teacher to join our team in Chester, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, a valid teaching certification, and a passion for creating engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for young children.

    Responsibilities:

    • Plan and implement a comprehensive and developmentally appropriate curriculum that aligns with Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards and promotes school readiness skills.
    • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel safe, valued, and supported in their learning.
    • Design and facilitate engaging lessons and activities that promote social-emotional development, language and literacy skills, mathematical understanding, and scientific inquiry.
    • Establish positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues, and communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development.
    • Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and use data to inform instructional planning and differentiation.
    • Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to meet the individual needs of students and ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to instruction.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
    • Valid teaching certification issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
    • Previous experience teaching in a Pre-K or early childhood classroom setting preferred.
    • Knowledge of early childhood development, best practices in early childhood education, and Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with children, families, and colleagues.
    • Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning.

    Requirements:

    • Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
    • Teaching certification issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
    • Previous experience teaching in a Pre-K or early childhood classroom setting.
