- Plan and implement a comprehensive and developmentally appropriate curriculum that aligns with Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards and promotes school readiness skills.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel safe, valued, and supported in their learning.
- Design and facilitate engaging lessons and activities that promote social-emotional development, language and literacy skills, mathematical understanding, and scientific inquiry.
- Establish positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues, and communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development.
- Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and use data to inform instructional planning and differentiation.
- Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to meet the individual needs of students and ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to instruction.
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Valid teaching certification issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
- Previous experience teaching in a Pre-K or early childhood classroom setting preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood development, best practices in early childhood education, and Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with children, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning.
- Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Teaching certification issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
- Previous experience teaching in a Pre-K or early childhood classroom setting.
