- Bachelors Degree in Nursing REQUIRED
- Masters Degree preferred
- Active TX RN license, BLS, ACLS
- NRP preferred
- FHM preferred
- RNC-OB preferred
- 3+yrs of experience in womens services REQUIRED
- 2+yrs of mngr/dir exp required
- Maternal Designation 4 (highest)
- Level III NICU (babies before 32 weeks)
- 5 L&D suites
- 8000+ births a year (700+ a month)

Position Title: Director of Labor & Delivery
Position Location: North Austin, TX
Position Shift: Full Time, No Weekends [24-hour responsibility as a Director]
Position Summary:
The Director of high-quality quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the
overall function and staffing of the unit(s)/department(s) in addition to
forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring. The Director fosters a culture of
accountability and collaboration and supports the development and
implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility
objectives.
