    Description
    About the Role
    In this dynamic and collaborative role, you will be part of the Treasury department at Gap Inc. You will be part of the team responsible for developing and executing foreign exchange risk management, subsidiary capital structure management, financing and banking strategies for the Company and our international subsidiaries. This team drives Gap Inc.'s foreign exchange risk management program and offshore funding with an emphasis on shareholder return, and analyzes and promotes effective uses of cash, efficient processes and effective controls.What You'll Do
    • Perform daily operational activities associated with the Company's global foreign exchange program including directing global cash settlements, control performance and program documentation.
    • Identify opportunities and support treasury technology initiatives; Oversee that daily foreign exchange activity is properly flowing through the treasury workstation; monitor exception reports and trouble-shoot solutions
    • Leads the offshore direct cash flow forecast/modeling process including certain market responsibility and global consolidation; Monitor offshore cash levels and develop recommendations for senior management around liquidity and mobilizing offshore cash.
    • Manage the company's global intercompany loan portfolio operations including system maintenance and documentation.
    • Support treasury projects, including projects related to the treasury workstation, international subsidiary funding and dividends, and banking and ad hoc treasury projects, as needed.
    • Cross functional and global collaboration with accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), tax, legal and global cash operations
    Who You Are
    • Strong quantitative, analytical and financial modeling skills; solid grasp of accounting concepts; understanding of financial markets
    • Highly motivated, possesses great communication skills with the ability to interact across teams and higher levels of management, comfortable in situations where work is fast paced
    • Proactive problem-solving skills including the ability to define possible solutions, foresee issues and provide proactive solutions to closure.
    • Very strong in Excel, solid with PowerPoint and Word
    • Anticipate operational/program issues and develops preventative measures.
