- Work directly with hourly team members to provide direction on daily tasks and resolution of issues.
- Set clear expectations and goals for the hourly workforce and hold these employees accountable for their results including required training.
- Maintain accurate records including overtime and attendance.
- Monitor and provide employee coaching with respect to safety, quality, and productivity performance (attendance, training, coaching, overtime).
- Lead and participate on daily tier meetings with a cross-functional team focused on departmental performance and issue resolution.
- Implement and maintaining an atmosphere of 5S and continuous improvement to accomplish department and plant goals.
- Maintain and update material handling processes, standard work, and work instructions as needed.
- Direct management of the receiving staff, material handlers, and related SCM activities.
- Support the execution of optimized materials storage and handling processes and procedures.
- Assist in maintaining an atmosphere of continuous improvement and team efforts for accomplishing department and plant goals.
- Assist the management team in determining personnel requirements, provide necessary training resources for new employees and manage cross training across departments in the supply chain materials team.
- Monitor and provide employee coaching with respect to safety, quality, and productivity performance (attendance, training, coaching, overtime, vacation requests etc.)
- Support / cross train coordination 3rd party warehousing, consignment, and other offsite scheduling as needed.
- Support what is needed during annual Physical Inventory.
- Perform ad-Hoc analysis and projects as assigned.
- Cross train for the other Supply Chain Materials Team supervisors' responsibilities which includes shipping and inventory control.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in supply chain
- Must be eligible to work in the US without company sponsorship.
- At least 1 year of supervisory/leader of people experience
- Proficient experience with SAP.
- Proven experience with quality assurance and reporting accuracy.
- Proven knowledge and applications skills with process improvements.
- Prior warehouse / logistics experience.
- Leadership and sense of urgency: ability to drive positive results in a complex environment.
- Demonstrated sound decision-making skills.
- Strong analytical thinking skills, intellectual rigor and curiosity; problem-solving capability

As a Receiving – Material Flow Supervisor, you will be an integral member of our Supply Chain Team with responsibility for driving processes related to the receipt and storage of all raw material inventory. You will be responsible for the Greenwood Emerald Road facility's receipt and warehousing activities overseeing the day-to-day operations of a warehouse and monitoring the productivity of its staff. The ability to multitask and delegate is essential with this role since the daily priorities change day by day.
The responsibilities will include supervision and direction of receiving and material handler employees, maintenance of inventory accuracy, and resolution of issues related to receipt or storage. In this role, you will assist in the development of processes to achieve a zero-incident culture, maximize output, improve, and maintain inventory accuracy, and reduce overall costs. Through these improvements, you will exceed the customers' expectations by making sure that the organizational decision making is based on a process-oriented culture to ensure the linkage from strategy to actions.
The Receiving – Material Flow Supervisor will help and support cycle counting processes, physical inventory processes, and internal materials replenishment strategies to meet inventory DOH and excess & obsolete management targets.
