    Description
    OverviewThe Medical Assistant plays a key role in creating a smooth, supportive care experience for patients and families.

    This position helps maintain essential clinical supplies, keeps patient flow running efficiently, and works closely with physicians and nurses to deliver high‑quality, compassionate care.

    Healthcare experience is a plus, and we welcome applicants who are Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistants (RMA).


    QualificationsCertifications:
    Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire — American Heart Association (AHA)

    Education:
    High School Diploma or GED (required)

    Work Experience:

    Some Healthcare experience is preferred ResponsibilitiesPerform routine direct patient‑care tasks to support medical and nursing staff during examinations and treatmentsMaintain a clean, safe, and private patient‑care environmentCommunicate effectively with patients and all healthcare disciplinesCollect and process specimens accuratelyObtain and document vital signs with precisionPerform ear irrigationsConduct patient screeningsVerify medications as requiredOrder and maintain clinical suppliesCarry out selected procedures, including suture and staple removal and ear washes About UsFind it here.

    Compensation and BenefitsThe compensation range for this position is $17.12per hour - $27.73per hour.

    This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health.

    The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
