Description

Position: Senior Product Design Engineer

Location: 34th St N, Fargo, ND

(onsite- work)

Salary: $90K-110K (some flexibility DOE)

Drug Free workplace

Looking to add a Senior Product Design Engineer to our team. In this position, you will assist the Product Director in product engineering initiatives, including new products, product improvements, and day-to-day production support on cutting-edge technology. If you want to build "real-life" movable "Lego type" projects, then this is the place for you

Responsibilities of this position include product definition, project management, CAD design, testing management, production process/quality support, document creation/management, and technical support for field operations.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
3-5 years of experience with product engineering (experience in Machinery or Ag/farm equipment or sheet metal/aluminum- highly preferred)
Knowledge and experience with most manufacturing processes
Help create and design product solutions for current and future products
Create and lead schedule for product improvements/additions
Manage engineering change requests (ECR) and releases
Create and lead testing to verify safety, performance, and standards compliance
Create and maintain all engineering documentation and reports, including scoping, calculation, project decisions, manuals, parts lists, process documentation, and production drawings

Preferred Skills:

Experience working in a manufacturing company, ideally in Machinery or Ag focused, farm equipment companies would be good – sheet metal, aluminum.
Experience with Pro Engineering, Creo Software or Solidworks would be beneficial
