    We at M Health Fairview are looking for a Medication Scribe to join our emergency room team at our St.

    John's Hospital in Maplewood, MN.

    We are approved for a 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period) on the night shift with an every other weekend rotation.

    *This is a 7 on, 7 off schedule*Some of the benefits we offer include medical insurance - as low as $0, dental insurance - also a $0 option, PTO (24 days per year), and 403B with up to a 6% employer match; visit to learn more Wages are $23.15/hr and go up with relevant experience.

    We also offer shift differentials of $3/hr for nights and $2/hr for weekends worked

    Responsibilities/Job Description


    Job Summary:


    The Medication Scribe is responsible for gathering and documenting patient medication information into the electronic health records system, as well as assisting with related administrative tasks to increase efficiency and productivity of care team and satisfaction of patients.


    Job Expectations:

    • Prepare current patient-specific medication list in accordance with department processes and procedures. This includes gathering patient medication and allergy information utilizing patients, their families, pharmacies and other care facility records to provide an accurate home and prescribed medication and allergy list.
    • Clarify obvious drug problems in the medication regimen.
    • Effectively triage patients to provide an accurate medication list available for physician review, using all communication options available including e-mail, fax and direct patient or provider contact.
    • Enter medications and allergies into patients' profiles as appropriate.
    • Performs other administrative responsibilities as assigned.
    Qualifications

    Required


    • Two years of healthcare experience or experience working as an LPN, CMA, CNA and/or TMA and/or pharmacy experience.
