    Description
    ProMedica Bay Park Hospital caters to communities east of the Maumee River.

    Our campus includes a state-of-the-art community hospital with 91 private beds and a professional office building dedicated to doctors' offices and outpatient rehabilitation, as well as a treatment and diagnostic center.

    REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Inventory Control Coordinator reports to department Manager and/or Supervisor and has no direct reports.


    POSITION SUMMARY
    Performs inventory replenishment function for Materials Management. Procure all necessary


    supplies utilized and associated services, including, but not limited to, storing, and issuing of items, monitoring, and maintaining inventories and related records.


    ACCOUNTABILITIES
    All duties listed below are essential unless noted otherwise

    Supports Materials Management procurement needs according to ProMedica contract matrix. Interacts with vendors according to ProMedica vendor policy. Monitors inventories and replenishes according to established pars. Proactively rotates stock and identifies obsolete inventory to reduce outdated supplies.

    Organizes and maintains records pertinent to stock levels, supply quantities issued and other data; recommends modifications to quotas or inventories to department leadership.

    Maintains established department documents and files, along with quality assurance programs and safety standards. Assists with the care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies. Prepares documents to process requests for equipment service and repairs. Verifies and receives incoming materials and equipment. Rectifies and prepares documents for any discrepancies. Monitors inventory and performs periodic cycle counts and physical inventory. Prepares and expedites purchase orders (PO) and work with Purchasing to maintain up-to date PO activity.

    Maintains personal and professional growth and development, through literature, education programs, in-services, meetings, and affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends as required.

    Accurately inputs, retrieves, and updates materials management information systems as needed. Maintains proficiency in computer programs. Performs other duties as assigned.


    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Education:
    Associates Degree in Business or related field.

    Skills:
    Must have previous experience in materials management. Must have the ability to critically

    think and problem solve. Must have computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office products.

    Must have experience with data entry and retrieval of information from specialized computer

    programs. Must have mathematic skills. Must be able to understand directions, communicate, and

    respond to inquiries. Must have effective interpersonal, oral and/or written communication skills.

    Ability to deal effectively with a changing environment. Must maintain a good driving record as

    required by ProMedica.

    Must be able to frequently, occasionally with assistance, move, lift, or carry

    very heavy materials and equipment. Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, stretch, push, and pull
