    Job Description
    • Perform investigations, trials, and improvements in manufacturing processes.
    • Create and modify customizable software for automated manufacturing technologies.

    • Support existing software applications and PLC programs.

    • Project lead for software development and IT infrastructure implementations.

    • Identifies and resolves quality issues related to automated assembly technology.
    • Mentors hourly skilled associates in proactive maintenance of assigned processes, including development of qualification cards and other training material.
    • Support and perform PPAP activities related to assigned processes.
    • Identify and lead projects to improve safety, cost, quality, delivery, and utilization of manufacturing processes in order to meet Policy Deployment objectives.
    • Actively participate in daily management of area using MES and other analytics/data to meet targets and derive measures to continuously improve performance.
    Qualifications
    • BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or Control Engineering) and 3+ years technical experience.
    • Programming experience with object-oriented languages and web technologies (PLC programming, C#, Python, HTML/Javascript)
    • Working knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, Microsoft SQL, Oracle) and IT concepts (VMs, networking)
    • Hands-on experience with highly automated equipment technologies- such as robots, automated axis systems, press/torque technology, vision systems, and feeding systems.
    • Prefer experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems and data analytics tools (PowerBI, Azure, Tableau)
    • Experience with lean manufacturing systems and concepts.
    • Project leadership skills and the ability to prioritize workload to meet established targets.
    • Ability to work on cross-functional teams with a high degree of self-initiative.
    • Experience utilizing problem solving techniques to solve complex manufacturing issues (ie. Six Sigma, Shainin, 5 whys).
    • Ability to travel (including internationally) for training, projects, and IPN activities.
