- Direct and oversee construction, operations, and/or maintenance tasks and assignments at project site.
- Consult with senior engineers and owners regarding engineering requirements, modifications, and structural repairs necessary to keep operations running smoothly.
- Review project proposals to determine accurate time frame, funding, limitations, procedures, and staffing needs in order to complete projects efficiently.
- Analyzes survey reports, plans, maps, and other data to make informed decisions about new projects.
- Completes and submits all permit applications to the appropriate agencies and ensures that projects are compliant at all stages with all federal and state regulations and overseeing entities.
- Develops scope of work
- Balances the planning of projects with day-to-day demands and oversight of current/ongoing projects
- Utilize the necessary design software to accurately render and communicate designs and plans.
- Plan projects based on necessary materials, reports, drawings, blueprints, geologic and topographical data, and others.
- Work effectively with engineering team and other departments to provide solutions to complex tasks.
- Recognize problems quickly and independently to resolve problems by seeking advice as needed.
- Consider and make known all budget and environmental hazards.
- Draft and present reports and engineering calculations to senior engineers
- Monitor project progress, inspect, repair, and maintain structures as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- EIT certification
- Preferred at least 3 years of environmental experience
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Strong knowledge of Excel, Data, and predictive analytics
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Successful candidates must possess a foundational understanding and practical experience in all tasks outlined in the job description, with the expectation of further development and mastery over time
