    Sr. Specialist, Corporate Communications (Hybrid)

    Collaborating closely with Corporate Communications Management, your main responsibilities include providing direct support and implementing internal and external communication tools. These tools are constantly updated to reflect the growth and culture of MicroVention's products and company. The Corporate Communications team operates at the intersection of visual design, storytelling, and communication strategy. They create content with a focus on business objectives and a deep understanding of diverse audiences. Emphasize creative design, storytelling, and audience insight. You will have direct interaction and collaboration with global sales and distribution teams, as well as team members for feedback and input. You will support various cross-functional initiatives and projects within the Corporate and Marketing Communications departments.

    What You'll be Doing

    • Ensure a solid grasp of MicroVention's brand guidelines. Provide creative design for internal campaigns, including some support for social media. Create graphic designs for print and multimedia, such as videos and some copywriting. Ensure the correct usage of marketing materials and communications both internally and externally. Implement and uphold the company's brand strategy, style guide, policies, and procedures.
    • Oversee marketing event projects by preparing and executing multiple components of the programs. This involves working with external vendors, agencies, and maintaining branding consistency at events and meetings. Events may range from corporate events to tradeshows. Project management tasks may include creative graphic design, preparation and editing of presentations, logistics coordination, and content presentation.
    • Manage projects within specific budget constraints. Understand proper communication channels in case of over or under budget situations. Demonstrate sound decision-making and project adaptability aligned with departmental objectives.
    • Lead individual and group projects and programs. Collaborate with team members to ensure the successful execution of programs or projects. Collaborate on video content creation, from storyboarding to developing a cohesive and engaging narrative.
    • Take the lead in formulating brand guidelines and executing the brand strategy, which may involve rebranding, new product launches, and other strategic changes. Act as a point of contact between internal stakeholders to articulate the brand’s position and ensure brand consistency across all programs, events, and promotional materials. Manage images and digital assets for branded internal communications.
    • Design and produce compelling, professional, and innovative executive presentations, campaigns, and programs.
    • Review, edit, and, as necessary, create communications drafted by key internal stakeholders. Provide recommendations to ensure message accuracy, alignment with core values, brand strategy, and adherence to organizational policies and style guidelines.
    • Create and manage content for the corporate intranet serving global associates. Develop a content strategy to enhance employee engagement. Maintain editorial calendars to ensure consistent, engaging, and fresh company messaging and visuals.
    • Utilize analytics and reports to evaluate the effectiveness of communication initiatives and continuously enhance them.

    Skills Needed for the Role

    1. Bachelor's degree in communications, business administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    2. At least five (5) to seven (7) years of professional MarCom/CorCom experience with a strong focus on creative design.
    3. Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
    4. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
    5. Capacity to work independently, juggling multiple priorities with meticulous attention to detail.
    6. Ability to collaborate with various associates and customers, prioritizing projects to meet deadlines.
    7. Proficiency in MS Office applications like PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook, as well as SharePoint, Canva, Illustrator, and InDesign.
