SANDS HARBOR RESORT AND MARINA in Pompano Beach is currently seeking exceptional candidates to join our Host/Hostess team

We are searching for friendly, energetic, highly-motivated individuals who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Candidates should be passionate about high quality food and service. Individuals must possess the desire to anticipate the needs of the guest. Experience is a major plus but not necessary.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a warm and welcoming attitude.

2. Manage the waiting list, reservations, and seating assignments efficiently.

3. Communicate with guests regarding wait times and keep them informed of table availability.

4. Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus.

5. Assist guests with any special requests or accommodations.

6. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the hostess stand and lobby area.

7. Answer phone calls and assist with reservations or inquiries as needed.

8. Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

9. Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.

10. Handle any guest concerns or complaints professionally and escalate to management when necessary.

**Requirements:**

1. Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

3. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.

4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

5. Proficiency in using reservation management software and basic computer skills.

6. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

7. A positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional service to guests.
