Develop Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layout implementation of complex electrical designs
Complete schematic capture and net list generation of electrical designs using the Altium Design tool
Define electrical component substitutions for existing designs
Execution of PCB layout of complex multi-layer and rigid flex circuit board designs
Drive PCB development for prototype/proof-of-concept for electrical designs.
Complete electrical PCB debug and SMT (Surface Mount) rework corrections of the electrical designs
Qualifications
Special Knowledge, Skills and
Abilities Required:
Strong knowledge of electrical design implementation to meet EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) standards, Intrinsic safety and wireless concepts.
Solid knowledge of schematic capture and PCB design using Altium designer
Solid interpersonal skills in design collaboration with electrical engineering team
Special Knowledge, Skills and
Abilities Preferred:
Knowledge of high-speed PCB layout design techniques/methods
Knowledge of wireless/RF PCB layout design techniques/methods
Education and Experience Required:
BSEE degree in Electrical Engineering , electronics or related discipline
Education and Experience Preferred:
2 years relevant work experience
