    Exciting Job Opportunity at a Leading Financial Institution

    Position: Deposit Operations Specialist

    Company: Confidential

    General Description:

    • Process electronic files, overdrafts, and large dollar returns.
    • Add maintenance and holiday messages to online banking.
    • Complete monthly Electronic Banking Report.
    • Review items in mobile check deposit.
    • Perform daily ACH activities, including BankTel ACH files and Fed Payments Reporter.
    • Complete daily non-post report for DDA and time deposits.
    • Perform research and adjustments to files as required.
    • Perform deposit operations internal batch review and approval.
    • Complete OFAC review.
    • Perform daily GLRECON, interest expense reconciling, and cash items reconciling.
    • Complete daily notices, notice counts, requests for changes on notices, and mailroom duties.

    Requirements:

    • Candidate must be self-motivated and a good problem solver.
    • Must be detail-oriented and enjoy working with people – primarily by phone and occasionally in person.
    • Demonstrates helpful and friendly service.
    • Must have a satisfactory record of work performance adhering to all Bank Policies and Procedures.

    Skills/Education/Experience Required:

    • Two or four-year degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Two years' experience in banking, accounting, or related field.
    • Practical experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
