    B2B Copywriter, Internal Agency
    Lead Analyst – HB3

    THE TEAM

We're a full-service internal agency that just happens to take up residence inside a global health company. A company with an incredibly ambitious mission: to improve the health and vitality of those we serve. We show up every day to advance this mission for The Cigna Group, Cigna Healthcare and Evernorth Health Services. It takes a heck of a lot of grit. But most importantly, it takes our unique blend of health care expertise and artful storytelling to craft the meaningful campaigns, content and experiences that inspire healthy action.

    POSITION SUMMARY

Our internal agency is seeking a B2B Copywriter to join our creative team, reporting directly to the Group Creative Director of Cigna Healthcare. You will be contributing to high-profile B2B creative projects focused on lead nurture, retention and acquisition and other key sales initiatives. While you need to be able to craft language for a business audience, it's also critical that your writing be bold, engaging, and able to connect with a B2B audience in unexpected and thought-provoking ways. That's why you must be a storyteller who is fluent in concepting and writing for multiple channels with a goal of delivering a meaningful brand experience for our clients.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Partner with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Designers and other members of the team to develop insight-driven creative concepts and bring them to life in unexpected and thought-provoking ways.
    • Translate extremely complex business strategies and product information into engaging headlines, copy and calls to action that inspire, inform and drive action for a B2B audience.
    • Develop concepts and write copy for a wide-range of cross-channel creative execution such as websites, digital display, email, direct mail, print collateral and presentation narratives.
    • Demonstrate a curiosity to stay on top of emerging trends, while keeping the pulse of advertising industry shifts and best practice.
    • Confidently articulate creative ideas within internal creative reviews and brainstorms, as well as present them in a persuasive and compelling manner to partners and clients.
    • Quickly become an expert on Cigna Healthcare's robust offerings of products and solutions.
    • Act as a steward for our brand, maintaining a consistent verbal identity across all experiences.
    • Partner with account management and producer teams to ensure creative deliverables are on brief, on time and on budget.

    WHAT YOU'LL BRING

    • Bachelor's degree in advertising, writing or communications.
    • 3-5 years of experience in an advertising agency or highly strategic in-house agency.
    • A world-class portfolio that demonstrates creative work with flawless execution across all channels (must include examples of B2B work).
    • An expert level understanding of how an idea can be brought to life across all channels—knowledge of best practice for digital and traditional channels is a must.
    • An enviable (almost to the point of being annoying) level of attention to detail when writing copy.
    • An aptitude for earning trust and developing meaningful relationships.
    • A positive attitude with a "get-stuff-done" mindset.
    • Ability to work from a Cigna office 50% of the time, as requested by the business
