    Position Summary


    Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Sales Account Specialist will strive to expand our presence in many aspects of the industry and will help ofi continue to grow our business.

    ofi is looking for a highly motivated individual to support the business with all customer service components.

    The Sales Account Specialist will work to build, grow and maintain internal as well as external relationships, while providing sales support and supporting customer accounts from A-Z.

    This role will be responsible for overall account management, logistics and transportation planning, warehouse allocation, inventory management and reconciliation.

    Position Responsibilities


    Fulfill all aspects of customer order processing including contract review, credit standing, product availability, freight coordination, freight pricing, processing fees and warehouse coordination to ensure order fulfillment within specified timeframes.

    Maintain third-party warehouse order assignments and logistics relationships.
    Complete customer order invoicing and distribution of invoices.

    Provide requested documentation for customers through appropriate communication methods (email, mail, with shipment) as well as complete export documentation and procedures when required for non-US customers.

    Assist with customer inquiries regarding complaints, product information, pricing information and product development referrals.
    Process customer returns and product claims including replacement orders with internal and external parties.
    Arrange internal product transfers and sample orders to customers.
    Compile weekly shipment reports for management.
    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Position Requirements

    High school diploma is required, some college is preferred.
    Two (2) years of relevant customer service experience is required. Experience working in the food or ingredient industry is highly preferred.
    Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook, are required.
    Advanced knowledge of processing orders through a formalized computer application outside of Microsoft products is required.
    Excellent communication, both verbal and written, interpersonal skills and organizational skills are required.
    Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively is required.

    Ideal candidate will be able to work in stressful situations while using critical thinking skills to resolve and prevent issues.

    Ability to work with flexibility and with little instruction is required.
    Experience dealing with food ingredients, export shipments, and manufacturing environments are highly preferred.
    Previous work experience in an international environment is preferred.
    SAP experience is preferred.
