Note:

· Must have at least 1 years' experience working in an industrial work setting.
Position Summary:
· Entry level role that is working in a plant/factory.
· Performs a series of operations or tasks under close supervision, utilizing documented work processes.
Job Responsibilities:
· Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
· Check on equipment throughout the shift to ensure equipment is working properly.
· Reads and clearly follows processes that are required.
· Contributes to division results and performance.
· Takes care of internal and external customer needs and expectations.
· Operate equipment specific to area such as: CARBON: Bag products, samples, and test.
· Manage spent carbon feed to reactivation furnace, Switch tank feed from tank to tank of spent carbon; calibrate PH probes, operate a filter press, run facility wastewater treatment plant.
· REGEN: Sort bottles by size and resin; load and unload deliveries to and from regional branch, operates forklift to move bottles and materials through plant and load/unload trucks, evacuates bottles.
Qualifications/Skills:
· High School Diploma or GED.
· Must complete site specific safety training - completed on the first day.
· Ability to communicate clearly with team members.
· Be able to follow and read instructions.
· Have basic math skills.
Site specific requirements:
· CARBON: Be able to complete 40-hour hazardous waste operations training.
Preferred:
· Some manufacturing/plant experience.
· Forklift driving (preference for experience, site is willing to train).
· Knowledge of computers.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis.
· Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis.
· Must be able to lift and carry up to fifty pounds.
· Must be able to climb and descend stairs.
· Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis.
· Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
· May work indoors and outdoors as needed.
· Exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees - will be retrieving material that is outside but labor work is done indoors.
· May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required.
· May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt.
· Work surfaces may include concrete.
· Employees must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone.
