    is on the search for a Production Planner for its growing US office and manufacturing facility located in Winder, Georgia.

    This position will report to the Production Planning Manager and will be responsible for producing a full production schedule and making effective decisions to support day to day production.

    This position works with the Design Engineering group, Application Engineering and Customer Service group, Information Technologies, Manufacturing and Purchasing.
    ResponsibilitiesProvide manufacturing with a full production schedule for the plant using an ERP Planning Engine.
    Monitor part availability on a per order basis and adjust the production schedule accordingly.
    Observe production schedule effectiveness to identify areas of improvement.
    Monitor Material Requirement Planning results. Follow up and act on prompts.
    Address all alarms as it relates to Customer Order changes. This includes quantity changes, date changes, and product configuration changes.
    Make effective changes to Shop Orders to assist production.
    Supervise the printing of Change Order paperwork that is used by manufacturing.

    Identify and resolve supplier and internal errors that result in schedule discrepanciesProvide continual improvement of the planning and reporting processesParticipate in project milestone meetings and new product development as requiredStay informed of current projects, customer quotes, manufacturing workload, and manufacturing processesAccurately develop and maintain complex master bills-of-material, and work order bills-of-materialValidate BOMs to engineering documentation for accuracy on each otherReproduce drawings and assemble drawing packets complete with work-order router (traveler), completion dates, and instruction for all operationsQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

    High School Diploma or equivalent required. Preference for two-year technical degree.2+ years of experience in ERP Manufacturing field. Working knowledge of using a planning engine is considered an asset.
    Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel (Data Entry and Printing Options)Working knowledge of ERP methodologies. Working experience with IFS is considered an asset.
