    Description

    Overview:


    The Bar porter is responsible to maintain a high standard of customer service while ensuring the assigned bar is stocked and clean.


    Responsibilities:


    Cleans bar area, including bar tops, sinks, glasses, refrigerators, coolers and other bar appliances in accordance with Hard Rock policies.

    Ensures bar is set properly.

    Ensures all soda gun products, fruit garnishes, and mixes meets service standards.

    Stocks assigned bar with product and supplies throughout the shift

    Prepares all mixes and garnishes

    Acknowledges, greets and converses with customers who approach the bar

    Performs other job-related duties as assigned.


    Qualifications:


    A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a bar porter and/or bar back in a casino, high-volume nightclub or high-volume restaurant preferred.

    Must have knowledge of beverages, glassware, and garnishes


    Additional Requirements:
    Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

    Must be neat and clean in appearance and physically fit to perform the duties required.

    Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift & work inside assigned bar areas in the venue

    Must be observant and quick to respond to various situations while also multitasking and handling stressful situations.


    Additional Details:

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:
    The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy.

    May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.

    Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
